Health Care for All

Health Care for America Now (HCAN) is a national grassroots campaign of more than 850 organizations in 46 states representing 30 million people dedicated to winning quality, affordable health care we all can count on in 2009. HCAN's organization and principles are supported by President Obama, Vice President Biden, and more than 190 Members of Congress. Health Care Now! supports HR-676, the single-payer bill introduced by Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich. HCN's goal is to demonstrate the overwhelming support for single-payer as a popular movement and to make sure single-payer is given fair standing with other reform options. Interfaith Worker Justice (IWJ) calls upon our religious values in order to educate, organize, and mobilize the religious community in the U.S. on issues and campaigns that will improve wages, benefits, and working conditions for workers, especially low-wage workers. IWJ.org
